It has been in Alaska since then, first with Interior Airways, then Fairbanks Air Service, and with the Everts family since 1973.

It flew as a tanker for Securite Civile in France who flew several DC-6's and now fly mostly CL-215's. Later moving on to Conair,a Canadian forestry airtanker service, in 1988 for fires throughout the Providences before being purchased by Everts in 2000 as Conair has mostly transitioned to Convair 580 turboprop tankers.
