Due to the approaching regulations on noise restrictions it seems that Icaro's days of 737-200's are numbered. During my stay I noticed that this aircraft was the loudest 737-200 in Quito next to Aerogals' diminishing fleet.

Most will bank right after takeoff on R35 to avoid the nearby Mirador mountain range. You can see how the clouds hang around the mountains making a clearing attempt dangerous.

Shooting is good all day as this was taken around noon time from the 4th floor. The Savoy has six floors. The sixth is for conventions, and the fifth was undergoing construction.
