Here sits three Northern Air Cargo airframes that were aquired when NAC retired their DC-6 fleet in September 2008 after 39 years flying the type. Everts or (Tatonduk Outfitters Limited) purchased the remaining aircraft under the condition they would not be flown in direct competition to NAC routes therefore all but one aircraft have been parked for spares.

More than likely a maintenance repositioning as N251CE took off later probably to replace the open cargo position out of Anchorage. Everts used to fly a C-46 or DC-6 every night for a mail run ANC-FAI-ANC years ago but it seems to have stopped.
